Toronto News

Right. So, I'm in Victoria BC, which remains one of my favourite places in the world, in the care of Lisa Zaritzky from Harper Canada, who I had been assured was wonderful, and is. She'll be sticking by my side through Vancouver and Toronto. Also, she would like a pony.

The news from Toronto is that we've pushed things earlier. Now, the event on Saturday the 8th of October will have the doors open at 5:30pm, and the event will now start at 6.00pm with the screening of a mysterious film of strange clips by Mark Askwith (will it contain Prisoners of Gravity Highlights? Will you be able to see Dave McKean's first film -- my acceptance speech for Prisoners of Gravity's Guest of the Year, in a number of takes, never since reshown? I have no idea, actually for Mark isn't telling.) The actual onstage stuff with me will now start at 6.30 and not at 7:00pm.

This is my fault, because when I realised that the original plan had me starting to sign for 750 people at 9.00pm, I was not properly enthusiastic. So now everything's a little earlier, and the signing bit of things will also start earlier... (For more information on the now sold-out event, call: 416-964-0011)
